4 symptoms of a startup that is ready to hire managers

Sam Altman, President at Y Combinator, the World's most successful startup accelerator, talks about when you should bring a manager into your startup and the issues that can arise if you don't.

When scaling make sure you're not suffering from the following:

1. Fear about hiring senior executives to manage teams.

2. Taking on too much work yourself to try and lead by example.

3. Bad personal delegation due to little personal management experience.

4. Failing to create a personal tracking and productivity system to follow what everyone is doing.

Hiring managers can ease these problems allowing for easier scaling past ~ 25 employees.
