1. Find a magazine and trade show you can visit for the sector you are targeting.

2. Create a short business plan that outlines your future order volume to help convince potential partners to do a smaller trial run with you.

3. Do a background check on any potential partners to check they haven’t been involved in fraudulent activities.

4. Don’t bulk purchase products that haven’t been heavily validated by your market.

5. Know the production time of each component being manufactured.
