How to adapt your hiring processes as you grow

Ben Silbermann, founder at visual social media site Pinterest, and Patrick Collison, cofounder at online payments provider Stripe, talk about how they have structured their hiring, and how the employees qualities they looked for changed as their startups scaled.

When scaling remember the following to scale up your hiring processes:

1. Make each of your teams like a mini-startup, you want to hire a leader, community manager, designer, writer, marketer etc. for each team.

2. Hire an experienced hiring manager as on of your first ~ 20 employees.

3. As you scale, you can invest in people with potential over immediate effectiveness more.
