Traps to look out for when closing a deal



Tyler Bosmeny, founder of school education management tool Clever, talks about common traps that founders fall into when trying to close deals and how to avoid these traps.

1. Lay out the points that you are and are not willing to compromise over – stick to this.

2. If they want features before they sign up, say that you will implement the feature if they sign up – providing it's wanted by other users or the client is valuable enough.

3. Don't give away free trials – offer a money back guarantee on your product.
