What counts as a business expense?

Carolynn Levy, General Counsel at Y Combinator, and Kirsty Nathoo, CFO at Y Combinator, the World's most successful startup accelerator, cover what expenses your startup can cover and what mistakes not to make.

Task

1. Make sure that you fully understand what is and what isn't a business expense – would you feel embarrassed telling your investor about the expense?

2. Have a company bank account so you can keep track of all expenses through that card.

3. Keep all receipts for your book keepers.
